David Ledesma is an independent gas and LNG
consultant with thirty years LNG experience gained through the development of LNG
projects in Asia and the Middle East. David provides commercial, financial and
strategic support to national and international energy companies globally. He
also writes on gas and LNG and presents regularly at conferences and podcasts.
David was appointed a non-executive Director of Pavilion Energy, a subsidiary
of the Singapore investment firm Temasek Holdings, in 2013.
He is also Chairman
of the Natural Gas Programme, Oxford Institute for Energy Studies (OIES) and co-edited the OIES/KAPSARC book “LNG in Transition: The Great Reconfiguration” that
was published in September 2016 and has authored other gas and LNG papers. David regularly interviews OIES researchers and commentators as part of the OIES podcast series - have a listen to a podcast in the publications folder of the OIES website.

David uses his experience and clear structured
thinking in strategy development to provide support to clients across a range
of business sectors. He has experience in facilitating meetings, balancing
process with content, and getting conclusions agreed by the end of the meeting.
David has over thirty years experience in the energy and utility sector, where he developed complex integrated energy projects, carried out negotiations at government level, and managed complex joint ventures. With this experience David provides commercial consultancy advice in all areas of the natural gas and LNG business. This includes development of company and project strategy, project structuring & implementation as well as development, market and pricing knowledge. David brings consultancy experience, clear thinking and support based on practical experience. Since 2000 David has worked on LNG consulting assignments in Europe, Middle East and Asia and regularly chairs and presents at gas and LNG conferences.
